New Calls To Ban Holocaust® Denial as Facebook’s move to shut down Alex Jones’ Infowars site bolsters Jewish claims
How They Do It–
Recent move by Facebook, Apple and YouTube to ban conspiracy theorist Alex Jones and his Infowars website from their platforms is helping to fuel the effort to stop Holocaust denial
ed note–please, not the usual business here from the readership whenever a Hollerco$t story is posted with all sorts of forensic evidence as to why it didn’t happen–that’s not what this story is about.
What this story is about is the manner by which Judea, Inc created, steered, manipulated and maneuvered the entire Sandy Hook Hoax fiasco like an armed drone in exactly the way needed in order to bring down the growing 911 Truth Movement and to hand off the nasty business of internet censorship to platforms such as Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Vimeo, Google, etc, thus taking the usual suspects such as ADL, SPLC, Simon Wiesenthal, etc out of the picture. Now, rather than some Hebrew or Shebrew from one of the aforementioned Jewish groups coming forward with the usual business of kvetching, pontificating, and issuing all sorts of condemnations and threats, instead the entire business of shutting down any and all discussions that the Jews don’t like will be on auto-pilot as the mega corporations with all their billions make sure to silence anyone whose problematic opinions might get them sued.
Times of Israel
In the wake of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s recent comments defending the right of Holocaust deniers to use the powerful internet platform, pressure is mounting on the tech giant from inside and outside the Jewish community to ban such content, and the recent move by Facebook, Apple and YouTube to ban conspiracy theorist Alex Jones and his Infowars website from their platforms is helping to fuel the effort.
‘They did it in one case — they need to do it across the board,’ Samuel Asher, executive director of the Virginia Holocaust Museum in Richmond, told The Jewish Week. “I’m hopeful that Zuckerberg will take that step.”
Last week, Asher was among two dozen Holocaust experts from around the world who last week signed a letter to Zuckerberg in which they offered Facebook “proven educational resources [about the Holocaust] in multiple languages, ready for digital deployment.”
The signatories also offered “cost-free professional development programs for educators on Facebook to give them resources, skills and confidence to tackle hate and prejudice, and to teach empathy, understanding and respect.”
Mark Cave, a trustee of the United Kingdom’s National Holocaust Centre and Museum and one of the initiators of the letter, told The Jewish Week in an email interview that he sees a similarity between Jones and Holocaust deniers. “Both parties pursue an agenda of hate and incitement to hate. Facebook’s position seems hypocritical. We would welcome an explanation from them.”
Jones, usually described as the most-influential right-wing conspiracy theorist in the country, has declined to refute the authenticity of the classic anti-Semitic tract “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion,” and has declared on his radio program that a “Jewish mafia … run[s] Uber, they run the health care, they’re going to scam you, they’re going to hurt you.”
Among Jones’ claims on his syndicated radio show and website: that the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting was a hoax; that President Obama is a member of al-Qaeda; that the U.S. government was involved in the Oklahoma City bombings; that Parkland, Fla., high school shooting survivor David Hogg is a “crisis actor”; and that Hillary Clinton runs a pedophilia ring from a Washington pizzeria.
In banning Jones and Infowars, Facebook accused the website of “glorifying violence, which violates our graphic violence policy, and using dehumanizing language to describe people who are transgender, Muslims and immigrants, which violates our hate speech policies,” according to Vox.
Zuckerberg stoked the controversy by defending his decision not to ban Holocaust denial on the grounds that while Holocaust denial (sometimes referred to as Holocaust revisionism) is offensive, Holocaust deniers may be sincere in their beliefs.
“Facebook rejects hate. We take down any post that celebrates, defends, or attempts to justify the Holocaust,” Ruchika Budhraja, a Facebook spokeswoman, told The Jewish Week via email. “The same goes for any content that mocks Holocaust victims, accuses victims of lying about the atrocities, spews hate, or advocates for violence against Jewish people in any way.
“But we do not remove lies or content that is inaccurate – whether it’s denying the Holocaust, the Armenian massacre or the fact that the Syrian government has killed hundreds of thousands of its own people,” Budhraja added. “We do believe that people should be able to say things on Facebook that are wrong or untrue, even when they are offensive.
Asher and other Jewish observers stressed that Holocaust denial carries with it the threat of violence, and therefore should not be seen as protected speech.
“Holocaust denial is not getting things wrong — it is anti-Semitism spread to mislead and incite hatred,” Asher said, referring to Zuckerberg’s original comments to Recode’s Kara Swisher that Holocaust deniers may simply be mistaken. (Zuckerberg later clarified, saying, “I absolutely didn’t intend to defend the intent of the people who deny that [the Holocaust].”)
In addition to the letter from Holocaust experts, a Change.org petition initiated by the New York-based Anne Frank Center for Mutual Respect was signed early this week by some 117,000 educational institutions, museums and individuals around the world. The petition calls on Facebook to take down Holocaust denial pages, said Alexandra Devitt, the Center’s director of communications and marketing.
Facebook’s decision to remove Alex Jones from its platform strengthens the Center’s argument for removing Holocaust denial material, Devitt said. “Together with the Holocaust Learning and Education Fund and the Association of Holocaust Organizations, we [the Anne Frank Center for Mutual Respect] began this petition before Facebook banned Alex Jones, but if Facebook can ban Jones from their site for spreading hate and lies, then it seems they have the power to do the same with these Holocaust Denial pages.”
Steven Freeman, vice president for civil rights at the Anti-Defamation League, said officials of his agency “have had conversations … over the years” with Zuckerberg in which they expressed concern about the threat caused by Holocaust deniers. “There are real world consequences for Jews.”
In an email to The Jewish Week, ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt said, “Holocaust denial has led to violent attacks against Jews, including the June 2009 shooting at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum by an avowed white supremacist who spent much of his career promoting falsehoods about the Nazis and their role in the Holocaust.”
In a letter to Facebook, Greenblatt wrote, “Virulent antisemitism is a proven pathway that leads from rhetorical hatred to actions of violence. Freedom of speech laws are not a reason to do nothing — inaction is always the opportunity for evil to flourish. All genocide starts with distortion of the truth and prejudice.”
Holocaust denial, said novelist and law Professor Thane Rosenbaum, a son of Holocaust survivors, is not the result of too little information or a misinterpretation of facts. “It’s a conscious choice — to cause harm to a community,” to incite people to “actual violence” against Jews. “It’s not just emotional harm,” he said.
Individuals who maintain a belief that the earth is flat – another common conspiracy theory – “do not have any kind of violence attached to their message,” said attorney Menachem Rosensaft, general counsel of the World Jewish Congress and the son of Holocaust survivors. “It’s a question of not providing a platform for hate speech.”
The debate about Facebook, Jones and conspiracy theories has a deeply resonant echo in the Jewish community. Around the turn of the 20th century, the Russian secret police created a lengthy document that purportedly showed that a cabal of prominent Jews were seeking to discredit Christianity and enslave the world. It became the most prominent conspiracy theory of its time.
Over subsequent decades, “The Protocols of the Meetings of the Learned Elders of Zion,” first published in Russia in 1903, became a matter of public controversy around the world, with the Jewish community denouncing them, anti-Semites embracing them and newspapers debating whether to publish stories about them.
The Holocaust denial movement, which finds major support among white nationalists and neo-Nazis in the United States, and several Arab and Muslim nations in the Middle East, calls the Holocaust a hoax, and its figures of genocide exaggerated in an effort to advance Jewish interests and garner support for Israel.
At the same time, recent polls here indicate a declining level of knowledge about the Holocaust among many citizens, particularly members of the millennial generation. This year’s candidates for political office, including a man who is running for the mayor’s office in Hilton Head, S.C., as well as candidates for Congress in Illinois and California, are openly espousing Holocaust revisionist views, a stance that would likely have been unthinkable in earlier years.

I Don’t Deny Any Holocaust… Do You?
by ‘WheresOurBlessing’ commentor at TUT
Many ignorant, brainwashed people have contemptuously called me a “Holocaust Denier”. The following is the response I give, to those who will listen:
Excuse me, but I don’t “deny” ANY “Holocaust”… Do you?
I fully accept the account of the brave and famous Russian writer and historian, Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, who was often called “The Conscience of the 20th Century”; who served eight long years in the Soviet Gulag prison system, when he reports in the book he published in the year 2000 entitled “Together For Two Hundred Years” that, in the Soviet Holocaust, 66 million innocent Gentiles, mostly Christians (and it being a full ELEVEN TIMES the number of Jews claimed to have been killed by the Germans in WWII), were kidnapped, tortured, raped, and murdered in a wide variety of cruel, wanton, and horribly inhuman ways in the thousands of monstrously evil Gulag concentration camps at the hands of the Jewish Bolshevik “Ivan the Terrible” Cheka corps.
I freely acknowledge the fact that on February 13 & 14, 1945, in the quintessential Holocaust of the non-military city of Dresden, more than 700,000 phosphorus bombs were dropped on 1.2 million helpless people, which produced a firestorm that was called a “Single Column of Flame”, where the temperature in the center of the city reached 1600 degrees centigrade, and in which approximately 500,000 German women, children, elderly, wounded soldiers, random citizens, and even all of the animals in the city zoo were slaughtered by concussion and fire in a single night.
I absolutely recognize that more people died there in Dresden, in that one big flame, than the estimated total of 246,000 helpless people who died in two other quintessential Holocausts, the senseless, wantonly murderous, abominable, and unnecessary atomic attacks upon the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki combined.
I openly avow the virtually forgotten Holocaust endured by the passengers and crew of the Wilhelm Gustloff, an unarmed German passenger liner which was torpedoed and sunk in the freezing waters of the Baltic Sea, 13 miles off the coast of Pomerania on January 30, 1945, as it carried, besides it’s men and crew, some 73 wounded soldiers, 373 members of the Womens’ Naval Auxilliary, and some 9,000 German civilian refugees – mostly women and children – who were all fleeing in terror from East Prussia in the advance of the Red Army, and where only a few hundred lived to tell the tale, making it the deadliest disaster in maritime history, killing nearly ten times the number who died on the Titanic.
And I fully admit that, as tallied and reported by the International Red Cross, a grand total of 271,304 people – not all of them Jews – died in all of the German concentration camps, combined, by the end of World War II – a Holocaust which was solely the result of typhus epidemics and starvation caused by the Zionist controlled, allied carpet bombings of supply routes and centers all over Germany that made it impossible to transport food and medical supplies to prisoners, soldiers, and civilians alike.
I certainly do not deny the Holocaust of the over 1,000,000 German post-war, non-combatants who were rounded up, detained without any food, water, shelter, or medical care, and purposely, and systematically killed through starvation and exposure in 1945-46 under the supervision of the allied commander Dwight D. Eisenhower, in the largest outdoor concentration camp this side of modern-day Palestine, or the concurrent Holocaust of the wholesale cold-blooded rape and murder of untold hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of women and children as the communist Red Army of the Soviets also took its “revenge” upon the defeated Germans.
I do not deny the Holocaust suffered by the good men and crew of the practically unarmed USS Liberty surveillance ship, which was deliberately attacked by air and sea, with machine gun, cannon, and torpedo fire by Israeli forces on June 8, 1967, killing 34 and wounding 174, in an attempted false flag operation which was intended to sink the ship, and murder all aboard, in order to draw the United States into the Middle East conflict on the side of Israel, and was only foiled by the ingenuity and resourcefulness of the crew in aiding the radio operator to successfully get off a call for help.
And I do not deny the Holocaust of the some 3,000 people who died in a single day as a result of the false flag attack on the World Trade Center in New York which was engineered and perpetrated by leaders of Israel in order to kick off their pre-planned “Clash of Civilizations” which they hope will eventually cause their two sworn enemies, the Christians, and the Muslims, to forget their historical religious commonalities, and annihilate one another in the yet to be the greatest Holocaust in history – a third world war – as the “Chosen Ones” sit on the sidelines… and direct… and watch… and profit… while gleefully rubbing their hands as even more untold millions of innocents die.
I also do not deny the Holocaust of the Jenin Refugee Camp, on April 13, 2002, where Israeli forces attacked the camp using bulldozers, tanks, and Apache helicopters, in a cruel, indiscriminate, blood-lust slaughter, which was said to be “Horrific beyond belief”, and which lasted for 13 days, flattening large areas of the town, and killing unknown hundreds of innocent men, women, and children, many of whom were buried alive; or the earlier, similar, Holocausts at the Sabra and Shatila refugee camps in Lebanon in 1982, in which it is known that at least 800 Palestinians were killed.
Nor do I deny the wholesale slaughter and destruction perpetrated upon the sovereign nation of Iraq, in the Holocaust that was the illegal, and unjustified war of aggression that, from 2003 to the present, has resulted in the murder of over 1,000,000 innocent Iraqi men, women, and children, and brought their country to ruin, as one of the first steps in Israel’s ongoing war of terror, which they have the unmitigated gall to present to the world as a war “ON” terror… for which the final tally of victims is yet to be seen.
And while I’m at it, let me just note here that I fully acknowledge the fact that the perpetrators of the above mentioned, and relatively recent Holocausts have a very long history of either directly, or indirectly committing numerous other such atrocities against many peoples over many millenia, even since ancient Biblical times – from the slaughter of the Midianites to the African slave trade – a number of which being the basis of, and celebrated during various Jewish holidays. And though I do not particularly describe them here, I don’t deny any of them either.
What I do deny is the ridiculous and exaggerated claim that there is ANY evidence at all that ANY Jews at all – much less “six million” of them – died from ANY intentional gassings, or as a result of ANY kind of organized or systematic program of genocide perpetrated against Jews by Germany’s Nazi regime… and I challenge you to produce ANY evidence or “proof” that is not merely made up of either pre-war, wartime, or post-war anti-German propaganda… because none, from either then or now, actually exists.
So, if you want to talk about a “Holocaust”… and I mean a REAL, genuine, genocidal “Holocaust”, and not only the ones from the past, but one that is happening right NOW, in the present, all you need to do is to pull your brain-dead/brainwashed heads out of your collectively ignorant rear ends, and look into the current goings-on in Gaza, The West Bank, Syria, and the Middle East in general, where the racist, supremacist, Zionist, Talmudic Jews are feverishly working day and night to exterminate anyone, either Gentile or Jew, who stands in their way in their quest to build their racist, supremacist, “Kingdom of the World”… a.k.a., Eretz Israel.
And if any of you sanctimonious accusers deny any of these realities, and merely cling to the all too common view that the only “Holocaust” that really matters is one that is purported to have been suffered by the Jews, then for people like you to call anyone else a “Holocaust Denier” is one of the most laughable, and hypocritical examples of psychopathic projection I have yet seen anywhere… even as you continue to stupidly, and unashamedly, prove your ignorance and psychopathy with every ridiculous charge you make.
